Because of ECW's cooperation I was able to witness cutting-edge wrestling, well before the WWF and WCW either stole Heyman's ideas or employees.
But for the love of God, please do not make me sit through another ECW "invasion" ... in TNA or anywhere else!!! This is no knock on any individual wrestler or wrestlers. This is a knock on an idea that's been ground into the earth ... and one that makes little sense as it's being presented in TNA.
With all due respct to Raven, Tommy Dreamer, et al., how can there be an invasion when ECW, in any form, no longer exists? Where are these former ECW wrestlers actually invading from? Think about it. How could Germany have invaded Poland in the 1940s if Germany didn't exist? Makes no sense, right?
Second, what reason would these aged wrestlers have for "invading" TNA? What are they so pissed off about? Unlike the Nexus, who are fighting for their futures in WWE, Stevie Richards, Rhino, and company should be grateful that TNA has given them jobs.
Finally, get on with it already. ECW hasn't "invaded" TNA as much as it has oozed into the Impact Zone. No momentum, no intensity.
As a fan and a PWI employee, I have lots of great memories from the time I covered ECW events, and I wish all the alumni great success, but please, enough is enough.

Couldn't agree more. There has been nothing spectacular about this so-called invasion. It wasn't done well the first time and the original ECW is dead.

Does anyone else find it odd that all of a sudden the two biggest companies in the world are having "invasion-ish" type story lines that seem hastily thrown together in comparison to how Chikara is doing there invasion story line correctly? or is it just me?
How Maximum Capacity never makes it is beyond me.
OK. Since this is obviously not an ECW invasion angle, where are the retractions?
No retractions. Whether this turns out to be an ECW invasion angle in TNA or not, I still don't want to see one.
